Although there are many search aids in the desLibris platform (see more here,) to get maximum benefit from the service it is vital that the content be integrated with your library's bibliographic search aids. so that users may locate material of interest through the library catalogue.

MARC Records

These are made available for downloading by all library subscribers through the MARC Services portal on Library Dashboard. The record sets made available may be aligned with your library's subscription and perpetual access holdings ("entitlements,")  and records may be customized to library preferences before downloading.  Every desLIbris MARC record contains a link (the "856 field") to the book or document it covers, enabling users to move directly to the book or document from the library catalogue.

Discovery Services

desLibris records may be found in the databases of 3 commercial library discovery services: OCLC Worldcat, Ebsco Discovery Services, and the various platforms available from ProQuest, including Ex Libris, Primo, Summon and Serials Solutions.
