Administrator Views and Options

Administrators logged in with personal account credentials will find  views and options which are not available to users. More details below.

 

Menus Available to each User Type

 

Each user type has different menu options. The "Results" and "Sign-in" tabs are common to all. Results opens the Search page, and sign-in the Login page.

 

The Public user sees these tabs:

 

The Library Administrator sees:
 


Home - tab shows only if a Home page has been defined, this page is visible only to Administrators. 

Bookshelf - this panel is the personal bookshelf for the signed-in Administrator.

Library Dashboard - the "toolkit" for library administration.

Profile - All settings pertaining to the Library account.

Shopping cart -  Administrators may add Books to the cart from the title view. Any titles added are visible to all Administrators on the account.

 

The IP-authenticated anonymous library user (without an Individual account) sees these tabs:

This allows the user to use the "Sign In" tab to log in to an existing Individual account or to open a new one. 
Again, Home is visible only if a user-visible Home page has been defined.

 

Once signed-in, the Individual account holder sees these tabs:

Bookshelf - This panel displays the Bookshelf owned by the Individual account.

Shopping cart - Holds only titles placed in the cart by the Individual account holder.
